Areas of Study
Teaching
For those interested in becoming a teacher, Trinity's teacher preparation program places students in a full-year internship in an area public school and culminates in a teacher certification.
School Psychology
For those interested in assessment and instructional programming for students with special needs, Trinity offers a 3-year program for Licensed Specialists in School Psychology.
School Leadership
For teachers interested in becoming a principal, Trinity's 14-month principal program offers a full-year internship and leadership coaching.

Pre-College Programs
Trinity University's Department of Education has a long history of offering educational opportunities and programs to students throughout San Antonio.
Through its programs—many run or led by Trinity students or graduates—the Department of Education creates opportunities to bring the talents, energy and enthusiasm of our undergraduates, faculty and staff to provide rich educational experiences for K-12 students across the community.
Upward Bound
Upward Bound provides opportunities for students to succeed in pre-college coursework in high school and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.
College Advising Corps
Trinity's College Advising Corps places exceptional recent graduates from all fields of study on high school campuses as near-peer college advisers to lead first-generation and underrepresented students to college.
